“WannaCry” attack hits 74 countries
Hundreds of thousands of ransomware attacks are targeting organizations around the world on Friday. Infected computer files are encrypted and a ransom payment is required to decrypt the files. The infection is spreading through a Microsoft vulnerability called “EternalBlue”. Microsoft released a patch in March, but many computers have yet to install the necessary patch.
